There’s a true crime documentary coming out called Village Of The Damned, about Dryden, New York and a series of murders that occurred there.
Please join me in boycotting this documentary. The creators were told repeatedly by residents that they did not consent to the filming or creation of this documentary. ID harassed my cousin who was there during that time and brought up a lot of past trauma that she had put behind her. They stalked her Facebook account and pestered her friends and family for interviews.
ID also promised that there would be no dramatic reenactments in this documentary, but then went ahead and did it anyway.
tl;dr: the Village of the Damned documentary coming out this month is awful and should not be supported.

Not being allowed to work + being in debt + being mentally ill = not a great situation.

My parents have basically put me on lockdown. I’m allowed to leave my house for school, church, biblestudy, counselling, and like walking the dog. If I was allowed to work, I’d be allowed to leave for that. But I’m not allowed to socialize, I’m not allowed to spend time with my boyfriend @jainasolo1994, and I’m being told to break up with him.
