You know, I’ve spent all this time thinking about how dumb it is that Erik is calling Raoul a “slave of fashion” when he’s wearing a sparkly cape and feathered fedora. Then, I realized that he’s actually complaining that Raoul just wears what everyone else is wearing. He’s complaining that Raoul doesn’t dress more ridiculously. That’s his pitch to Christine about why she should pick him and not Raoul.

A VERY SPECIAL DAY

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but today marks the ANNIVERSARY of Erin and I’s relationship!
One year.
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year, yet just as hard to believe it’s Only been a year.
We have grown so close, in some ways it feels like we’ve always been together.
It’s been a difficult year for many reasons, and I’m so grateful for all the support and joy and hope that she’s provided.

Erin,
You are my Light.
I can’t imagine where I’d be if you hadn’t kissed my cheek a year ago from today💘
Thank you for loving me, in such a way I thought only possible in fiction.
You accept me as I am but you always encourage me so I can improve.
I love how we’ve grown together, we learn from each other and make each other better people and that is so important to me.
I hope more than anything that we spend all remaining years as we have this one: Together.
