Genderfluid God by Mica K
It is also worth noting that the God of Genesis is plural. God says “let US make humankind in our image, according to OUR likeness.”
I feel like this is a bit that gets missed a lot.
God is not one thing. God is many things.
You, whomever you are, however you are: you are made in the image of God: I AM, She Who Is, They Who Are.
This gets a tad too pantheistic near the end to align with my personal beliefs but I fully support the idea of God being no/all genders, and it’s true that in the original Greek, They are referred to by plural pronouns, though the surrounding words imply singular, the modern equivalent of saying “They is”, which I think speaks to the contradictory yet harmonious nature of God.
But I digress, the point here is that God is not just an old white dude in the sky, we are ALL made in Their image, every single human from every single nation in every single era bears resemblance to God, we are all Their children and I wish more of Their followers understood what that really means.
And seeing as how They aren’t a (purely) physical being, it seems right that, in some divinely abstract way, They might also be the acts of everyday kindness, the very concept and practice of Love itself.
