See up my first rendition of NMM. The nebulous mane always caught my eye, and as a FX animator, I always wondered if I could reproduce it. But in COTN we noticed that these manes tend to look a bit stiff in practice.
Time passed and if you have been wondering what we been up to, you can see it in the second panel. We are working on a Ponyphonic song “The Moon Rises” , voiced by Eileen Monty.
To avoid any confusions with the actual show we have done things our way, and gave her a Maleficent Flare (and a dash of Ariel too!). What do you think?

PS: Do not ask us when it will be done, quality is the priority, for growing both as an animator and a painter. Also, this rendition of the character is not final. FX and lighting are missing, as well as fx for the scene.
